A one-off Bellini Astor 38 Pista enters the water
Bellini Yachts has unveiled the new motor yacht Bellini Astor 38 Pista, created in collaboration with the owner, the racing driver Francesco Castellacci.
Bellini Astor 38 PISTA — originally a custom project born from the desire of Italo-Monegasque racer Francesco Castellacci to acquire a boat resembling his beloved Ferrari LMGT3, the car he has been driving for the past several seasons in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
Castellacci wanted to feel the same speed, handling responsiveness, and reaction time on the water that he was used to on the track. Bellini Yachts accepted the challenge and designed a new model for the racer from a clean slate. Every major decision during the build process was discussed personally with Castellacci and meticulously brought to life by Bellini’s customisation studio.
The hull features a silver-red racing livery and numerous details indicating that the Astor 38 PISTA is no ordinary boat but a favourite “toy” of a professional racing driver. The cockpit features bucket seats upholstered in fabric with a pattern inspired by the classic Ferrari Daytona, a windscreen frame in the signature “Giallo Modena” yellow, and a red “zero mark” on the steering wheel.
Notably, the racer’s desire aligned with the shipyard’s internal plans, as they had been considering designing a new boat in this size class. After completing the custom project, the yard decided to put the model into series production.
The public debut of the Bellini Astor 38 PISTA is expected at the Cannes Yachting Festival, September 8–13, 2026.
