The primary mission of this project is to strengthen the friendly ties between athletes and the business community of the BRICS member countries, uniting the sporting and business communities around the values of fair sports competition and mutual understanding.
The BRICS Sailing Championship will be held as an open international competition, open to all interested participants. The five-day sports program includes sailing competitions on J/70 class sports yachts as well as the organisation of a children's regatta in the optimist class. The organisers plan to develop the tournament further, hosting races in other yacht classes in the future.
